Two Green Bay Area Public Schools competed at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City in May of 2026. The Global Finals is the final tournament Destination Imagination’s Challenge Experience, with the top teams from around the world competing.
Two elementary-level teams represented the District; Aldo Leopold Community School’s Mighty Honeybees and Leonardo da Vinci School for Gifted Learners’ Four French Fries.
Both teams competed in the Central Challenge and the Instant Challenge portions of the tournament. Aldo’s team had the highest score of the tournament for the Fine Arts Instant Challenge, a surprise challenge where teams are suddenly given a set of materials, and must think on their feet to either build a structure, perform a skit, or solve a task within minutes.
Out of 56 teams, da Vinci’s team came in 25th and Aldo’s team came in 29th overall.
